Catnip induces a harmless euphoric state in cats that lasts 5 to 15 minutes. Sprinkle some out to keep your feline feeling groovy.
 
The principal natural constituent of catnip is nepetalactone, which is what makes most cats respond to catnip. It is less likely with our catnip, but not all cats respond, why not give our trial size catnip a go if you are not sure!
 
Cats can't technically 'overdose' on the smell of catnip, however, they shouldn't eat too much of it in one go, as they may experience some mild gastrointestinal distress, such as vomiting or diarrhea. If this occurs, remove the catnip from your cat's environment.
