Before the Event
Get Your Cat Toothbrush
Prior to the online event you need to make sure you have a cat toothbrush and cat toothpaste - you can chose any cat toothbrush you'd like however, we have products we recommend below. For best results, read the manual and practice with your cat before the event. By signing up, you'll be emailed guides to help you before the event.
During the Event
Toothbrushing Techniques 101
The online event begins by going through the register of attendants and by introducing our feline dental experts. These experts will guide you through the basic techniques appropriate to the toothbrush you may have and also answer any questions before starting.
Clean Teeth & Post
We'll then countdown and all begin brushing our cat's teeth simultaneously. You will need to record it on your phone, upload it to a Facebook or Instagram story and tag us @inventor_cat and @cats_dentalclub. This is to prove to Guinness World Records that the videos match the registrants of the event.
After the Event
We'll gather the recordings, the register, the video tags and submit the necessary information to Guinness World Records to demonstrate our record attempt. 12 weeks from the submission we will then get a decision.
Once the record has been granted, we'll send copies of the certificate to all participants. Everyone who took part will also be put into a prize draw where lucky winners will win a range of prizes, from Catnip, toothbrushes, to a year's supply of Dental Wands.
What Will You Need?
This is a free event. A chance for you and your cat to help us make history and begin a cat-friendly oral care routine.
We want to make this as easy as possible for you to take part. Our experts will help you on the day of the event, you just need to make sure you have the following ready before the event starts.

Frequently Asked Questions
You need to make sure you get a cat toothbrush a week before the event starts. The cut-off date is the 18th of May. This is to ensure you have time to introduce the cat toothbrush to your cat, encouraging the best results on the day.
